Talking Good time sailing with Joel

Went out on the Neuse with Joel yesterday. Had a great sail. The wind was good. Pretty sky. Good sun. Good time. It is really nice to meet up with Joel. He let me take the helm most of the day. (i think he was just being lazy, just kidding). They say that the internet keeps people from facing the real world but when used correctly it can open up opportunity to see more of it and meet really great folks and i got to do that yesterday. Thanks for the Great day Joel.

Wish they'd shown up to do my bottom Tues so I could have been down there. Glad you had a good time. Hard to imagine being around Joel and not having a good time.

I am looking forward to meeting him (Joel, and it looks like PBeezer will be there also) on Saturday.
If the forecast holds, it looks like there should be some decent wind (possibly terrifying at times in the afternoon though).

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
