150 Maybe
Is the main too small.

You're correct thats the C-30 original 130 or 145 I think not 150 (but possibly) - the 150 extends to the aft most window (at least on mine), and you are not wrong on the main. Catalinas typically have the main actually shorter than the boom by about 6-8 inches. One of the reasons if you race them a good sail loft will maximize the main - and make it free-footed. That at least is how my C-27 was - and new sails I got ended up being much better - and bigger...so you have the typical sail plan for your model...
