2008 Hurricane Season...Bertha!

Tropical Storm Bertha with 50mph winds looks like she is on her way to becoming a hurricane and on track to skirt the Virgin Islands, possibly Bahamas and US East Coast.
Keep a weather eye out if you are making cruising plans this week!

A couple of the models had her pointed my way yesterday, but today they seem to be trending a bit north of the Leewards, at least for now.

Should be some good surf on the Outer Banks late in the week! Looks like you're clear on this one Hud!

Now 90mph and Category 2 expected later today. Bermuda looks right Gary...time to snug down and lay in some dark & stormies!

The Carolinas may not be out of the woods yet according to accuweather.
