The clearance between the lowest part of the bridgedeck between the hulls and the water needs to be about 30 inches. If not, a wave can hit the bottom of the boat with a lot of force. When it does, the whole boat "slams" to a stop. A very unpleasant experience.

BTW, is that a Prout?

No, which is why he gets so excited when his wife is sailing the boat... cause he can't. He blows up a mean chicken though... and if you haven't heard, he has a tendency to cross dress in his wife's bikini bottoms...
