Transportation from BEAUFORT, NC

Hi All,

We delivered our "new" boat up to the Chesapeake from Beaufort NC and have a car sitting in Beaufort! If anyone knows of someone needing to get from Beaufort to the Annapolis area let me know.

Thanks,
Tom

TomL-

Welcome to sailnet. I'd highly recommend that you not post your e-mail address in a public forum, especially in machine-readable format as you have, unless you like collecting spam. I'd also recommend you read the post in my signature to help you get the most out of your time on sailnet.

I'd second Melrna question... Whatddya buy?

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Purchased ...

We purchased a 47' cold molded centerboard ketch built in '91. (Craig Walters design 2-6" board up draft... 8' down) Named "SALT"

I think I have sailed her more in the past month than all the other big boats I've owned combined!

Thanks for the posting advise...

Cheers,
Tom
