This has to be pretty early as far as hurricanes go. Hopefully it won't get any bigger and everyone is safe and sound. Seems like the biggest danger is per the news reports are a bunch of old levees (again). The learning curve is certainly steep for us.

Yah.

Waiting for New Orleans to get pummeled again. A buddy of mine down there tells me that some of the pumps they use to keep the place dry were built before 1900. They've put new engines in front of them, but the pumps are antiques.

Nice to know that our federal taxes $$ are used for the items they're intended for.

Yeah, right.
