GTA Sailing
Hey all,
Im looking for some advice for where to put in a 22' sailboat around the GTA. I was looking at lake simcoe and Ontario, but im not too familiar with the lakes and their hazards. I sailed on Lake Champlain up until now. The drive from toronto got to be very tedious  . My concern with lake simcoe is how quick conditions can deteriorate (at lease thats what i have been told). But then again, the same could be said for lake champlain and i never had a problem sailing there. Lake ontario on the other hand doesnt have many beaches to go to and isnt all that nice to look at, but it has a more consistant wind and it takes storms longer to generate larger waves.
Any additional information or experiences on these lakes would be very much appreciated.
