Mylar Genoa

I have an old but still very good light air mylar genoa. Due to its light air focus it is not suitable for my furler. I am wondering if it would be suitable for use as a gennaker? The luff is longer than the leech and the luff line is stiff rope. I could fly it using the spinnaker halyard.
Comments!!??
