Catboat Racing

I was in Tuckerton, NJ today working on my boat, when I happened to notice a wooden mast out of the corner of my eye. So I looked up and there was a parade of really old wooden sailboats going down the channel, my marina is located on. So I jumped in my jeep and went down to the bay and they were having a catboat race. I took some pictures and will post them later if they came out of. Here is a link, fun day.

I had a dream, I was sailing, I was happy, I was even smiling. Then I looked down and saw that I was on a multi-hull and woke up suddenly in a cold sweat.

Just a few sails ago I had the pleasure of exchanging some niceties with the crew on board a 80 year old Crosby. What a gorgeous boat! Those old cats really brings sailing tradition out for everyone to enjoy.

who is staring at the sea is already sailing a little

There was a fairly large crowd in the small park near the bay, where the race was held. There also had to be at least 60 people that were 70 years old plus, watching the race. I was glad to be there. I'll post some pictures, when I get back from my boat.
