Warning Re: - Jack Rabbitt Marine

Hi All,

I just wanted to post a warning about doing business with Jack Rabbit Marine. In the past I have purchased quite a few items from them and they were always very good about their prompt shipping, customer support etc..


Anyway, a guy on another forum had them charge his credit card 3K over 21 days ago and he never received the product! He claims all emails and phone calls have gone un-answered. The web site now says "Store Closed"!!!

So, if you are a telephone and catalog shopper, DO NOT call Jack rabbit and place and order or you may get taken for a ride too.

I don't know what happened? They always had a very good reputation and treated me better than many/most on-line retailers? I hope no one else got or gets screwed..

[edit]Asked and answered, looks like: Whither Jack Rabbit Marine?. From the last post on that page, smells like Chapter 7.

Funny, I was just over at that site earlier this week, looking at something. (Don't recall what.)

They were so helpfull when I did my upgrade. But that was several years ago. This is sad to hear.

Because I have an alternator problem and could not seem to find JR on the web, I emailed Balmar for help. Their reply confirms it--Jack Rabbit has closed their doors! The guy I contacted at Balmar said he found out yesterday. It's sad, because they were very helpful in the past. I bought all my charging equipment from them. Good prices, good service, but they are gone now.
