Five dollar/gallon gas, here we come! Some weather folks were saying the mountains of central Cuba would knock the stuffing out of Gustav, and then it would reconstitute itself in the Gulf and wreak havoc on the oil platforms.

Oh Lord! Not again....the frogs are still gagging here in Melbourne. At least the weather guru's are predicting the high, with it's clockwise rotation, will push it to the NNW after leaving Cuba as a Cat 1 come Saturday. Hopefully, that will hold true....we are STILL saturated and have not yet evolved with gills.

I have it on good authority that US offshore oil production is concerned about this storm. Better fill up now!
