Junk Raft crosses from San Francisco to Hawaii

'Junk' raft ends pollution awareness mission

Not exactly the craft I would pick!

For some reason Internet explorer cant keep the page open for me to read but the quick glimpse I got of the vessel looked more sea worthy then this Atlantic crosser. Made completely out of pollution.. The only boat in the world that adds value picking up flotsam...

The boat in the OP's link looks suspiciously like a Catalina 400 as modified by SailingDog. But that would mean.....

Sway-

I'm insulted... I would never touch or sail on a Catalina 400... You might, being one of CruisingDad's sycophants, but not me...

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Is it documented? Its a cat, right?

My formula for living is quite simple. I get up in the morning and I go to bed at night. In between, I occupy myself as best I can.

I'm sorry, Dog. You must admit though that there certainly appears to be a Catalina in there somewhere though! The thought that CD modified it based upon your trimiran was just speculation on my part though.

Hey guys, don't pick on Catalinas, I'm sure there are some nice people who sail on them (somewhere).
