Well we are glad that one is over. Whampoa came through with no damage and I saw little real damage in Oriental. One blown out jib down the creek from us as a roller furled jib got loose and destructed in about 30 minutes.

As Hanna went further inland we saw only about a foot of water rise. Most of the water in the creeks left promptly once she went north of us and the winds came around out of the SW.

As I pulled all the sails off for the blow, I've brought the booms home to wood them and refinish them.

Glad to hear you did OK John. I'll bet it was rockin in New Bern for awhile.

Regards, John

I was going to go sailing today as the forecast was for 10kt winds and mostly sunny, but we are getting 15-25kt winds and occasional downpours. But the Bills won, so that's good

I made it through just fine. Lost another anchor though. Im getting a bit annoyed with this. At least this one is only in about 15' of water, going to drag the dingy anchor where it is and see if i can hook it.

Got a bit nasty between 2 and 4 am, but otherwise was much like just a summer storm. Haven't heard cam say anything about Maneto, so hopefully all went there as well.
