SD

I think that is the number I saw earlier today. You joined in March 2006 according to that message. That is over 25000 posts in approx 850 days. Just over 30 posts a day for every one of those days on average.

Wow! is the 25000 number some sort of error or did you really post that many? I think it would be difficult to post more than 1000 a year - let alone over 10000

Mike

I think he really did post all 25k+, when he is on his fingers fly. At least once we have replied at the same time to a new thread and I finished typing 3 minutes after him...
Not only that but many times his answer is right on target

My one year point is in three weeks, I'm at 3080 or so. The good news is most of his points are shorter than his signature line; the bad news is on his longer post I've not seen a bad answer yet on the factual posts.
Having met him, he's just as informed, friendly and personable as he seems here, he's very real.
I'd crew with him or for him, pretty much anywhere (on the right boat of course, that Telstar is a Gemini cast off).

Yep he's real and does...

Yep he's real and certainly does sail. I too have met SD and he's a great guy. From what I understand he was laid up for a while, perhaps surgery but I can't remember the specifics, and posted LOTS being in bed 24/7 for a good deal of time.

The funny thing is my wife thinks I post a lot! I'm only at .62 posts per day but I began posting under this particular username in 2003??
