Bahamas Charter

Have a 6 day charter in the Bahamas in mid March with the "Moorings". We know nothing about the Bahamas. Any advice from those of you who have been there? Any "must see" places?

Assuming you will be chartering out of Marsh Harbor there are many wonderful and protected spots within 20 miles in any direction. Suggest you get a copy of the DODGE Guide to Abaco as it will give you ALL the great spots and chartlets and waypoints. Good choice on the Moorings.
If you like diving or snorkeling I think stopping in Great Guana key settlement and walking over to Nippers and the Atlantic side reefs (go south 1 mile on the beach from Nippers!) will be a highlight. Other neat places are Hopetown and climbing the lighthouse there, Little Harbor, Treasure Cay beach and White Sound in GREEN Turtle cay if the weather is settled. Don't miss either steak or rib night (Wednesday or Saturday) at the Jib Room in Marsh Harbor.
Have fun!

Google "Abaco Forums" and you'll access 2 message boards. If you do a search of their posts you will find that your question about what to see and do has come up quite frequently.

Get ready to have a blast!
