Cruiser''''s Web Sites

I am toying around with creating a website for cruisers that want to make their own web pages through your web browser, no web page knowledge needed. You can share with family and friends your adventures. Upload photos and text, maybe accessible from cell phones and PDA''s. Links to Maptech to post links to your positions, live harbor webcams around the world.

Any interest or suggestions?

Thinking 29.95 per year to host with email and a higher $49.95 per year for lots of storage. possible gift shop with sailing and computer accessories all sailing related. I do web design and hosting now and going cruising in the next year or so,,so it''s a good fit.

Cruiser''''s Web Sites

One suggestion would be to experience several, if not most, of the likely connectivity options that your cruiser customers will have to use. Check the ease and cost of uploading and maintaining the web pages, from a cruiser''s perspective. I believe it will have to be relatively painless or few will opt to use it, but that''s JMHO.

Wishing you success.

Duane
