I have a confession to make...

I may need to seek help as I don't know what to do about it. I think it's a very serious problem. You see, I've been looking at a lot of boats recently, and there is one that I kinda like, but it's making me ashamed, like liking that girl in high school that everyone thinks is a dork, you know that feeling?

I'm a minimalist kind of guy, I believe in having something adequate for the job at hand, I don't need a lot of frills or flash. Anyway while poking around in boats one model struck me as just that type of boat, and a boat I might even be able to afford new or a few years old (I would have to, it's a recent model) I poked and prodded it and it seemed to be a good quality, well built boat. well, err... Ummmm, here it is.......

Looks like a Hunter 27; I'd do some charter sailing on one before I bought it (to be sure you like it as much as you do looking at it). It could be worse; you could be eyeing a McGregor.

Thanks Alex, I just might, we are buying a boat after next year, and the thought of ordering one exactly the way I like it is attractive, but it's also a $60,000 purchase, it's more than my house was. I have some time to think about it.

Well maybe it's a style thing, I like Catalinas but hate every Hunter I ever laid eyes on, they are universally butt ugly, and I seem to pass every one I see on the water too, they all look under canvased...except this one, it just looks right.
