Memories

What a wonderful photo montage. You evoked memories of a life gone by with kids and wife and sailboat. One of my favorite pictures is of me and my still in diapers son leaning against the boom of our small sailboat looking at the sunset. It sums up the joy of a day sailing, swimming, snorkeling and just being together as a family. Your montage has that same feeling. There's nothing better that a day together doing something you love.
I look forward to your expressions as a grandfather with your son's kids on the boat!
John

Very painfully slow in loading but what I have seen so far is typical of your families love of sailing and being togather.

Why is that that some u-tube videos load fast and otheres slow...dosent seem to have anything to do with length????

All of these lines across my face
Tell you the story of who I am
So many stories of where I've been
And how I got to where I am

But these stories don't mean anything
When you've got no one to tell them to
It's true...I was made for you

I climbed across the mountain tops
Swam all across the ocean blue
I crossed all the lines and I broke all the rules
But baby I broke them all for you

Because even when I was flat broke
You made me feel like a million bucks
You do
I was made for you

You see the smile that's on my mouth
It's hiding the words that don't come out
And all of my friends who think that I'm blessed
They don't know my head is a mess

No, they don't know who I really am
And they don't know what
I've been through like you do
And I was made for you...

All of these lines across my face
Tell you the story of who I am
So many stories of where I've been
And how I got to where I am

But these stories don't mean anything
When you've got no one to tell them to
It's true...I was made for you

Nah...that's the lyrics to the song....they are applicable to pretty much anyone...that's what I find amazing about this song...check it out...tell me it's not your story...

The singer is Brandi Carlisle, and the song, "The Story"...sounds like a good after summer song, doesn't it?

Trust me, you don't want to hear GUI sing... I have and I still have nightmares about it.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Very nice Alex. You're getting sentimental in your old age, that's a good thing.

Summer? Over? It's just getting started, you girly man. And what lines on your face, you've got a face that looks like a freshly made knackwurst, not a line on it, just a string around the end holding all the crap in.
