Yep, I figured that the two were related.

Saw the movie this weekend. I enjoyed it, but found it rather bland in many respects. Felt more like a television show than a documentary movie. I could have done w/o the various songs cut like music videos. I'd rather see extended shots, and more developed sequences than the shorter cuts which left it all feeling a bit shallow.

Now Deep Water - that was a movie! (I'm talking presentation styles rather than the inherent drama of the Crowhurst saga)

I liked both movies, but agree that Deep Water was a facinating look into the mind of a slightly unbalanced individual as they went through the process of creating a trap for themselves that eventually lead them right over the edge. Deep Water was more of a "warts and all" look at the subject, while Morning Light is more what one would expect a Disney product to be -- a highly sanitized, and somewhat shallow (but still entertaining)production.

If you are going to be spoiling the movie, an appropriate **SPOILER ALERT** would be nice, that way those of us who have not seen the movie can skip your post. Just an idea.

Uhhh....I don't think anyone gave away the plot. I and others were giving our opinons on the film and nothing more.

If you don't want a review of the movie before you see it, maybe you should avoid threads where the movie is being discussed.

No way in a long shot did anyone give away the movie. Read all you want.
