Good travel website
I have no connection with this outfit, but have been pleased with their prices. I decided today to go to the Annapolis show for a couple of days (Sunday/Monday) and got a hotel through a site called hotwire.com. They sell off hotel rooms (and other travel stuff) in the last few days.
For hotels, you do not know which specific hotel you will get - only that it is in a particular area. Room rates are given by star ratings. Anyway I got a double room at the Doubletree Annapolis for $53 plus tax (you get the specific hotel after you book). I checked this hotel's website and their internet special for that night was $139 plus tax.
