Yeah, and how about those "estimated monthly payment" signs hanging from the express cruisers?

It may be me, but if I have a choice between looking at boats or women in mini skirts and stiletto heels, guess who wins?

We started off with a painkiller followed by a brew, then purchased a new Garhauer Traveler, a hatch scoop thingy, and some over the fence ice cream.

We only boarded 4 boats:

Gemini 105C
Valiant 42
Outbound 52
Tartan 5300

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Bought the matching Garhauer radar tower with engine hoist to the new davits we bought from them this year. I love their stuff

Bought a great wire stripper from a hawkster, but it does really work well.

I only went on a few boats while my wife went on most.

We are looking for something in the 42-48 range but certainly not new.

I loved the Morris
I drooled over the Hylas
I was very very interested in the 42 sabre there and am pursuing it although the price is way to high.

I really liked the "small oyster". If you want to take good pictures go on the tour of the large steel charter boat just in front of the Virginia. While I was on deck someone came by in a J boat with 3 sails up heading down the channell. Got some good pictures of boats going by.
As to purchases we spent our money on new coffee cups, beer coozies and shirts with the new boat name. For a bad economy there were a lot of people standing in my way!
