Marina recommendations in Norfolk, VA area

Planning on moving to the Tidewater area fairly soon and was wondering about opinions on marinas in the area, including the one at Norfolk naval Station, since my son would have EZ access to the boat as he's stationed there.
Don't have the boat yet, but plan on getting something in the 28-30 ft range.

Opinions on facilities, access, liveaboards, repairs, etc. all appreciated!

tidewater yacht agency is a real nice one right over in portsmouth (it's really not that far away. about half an hour). it's got GREAT recources. there's also the one on the lafayette river right where hampton boulevard crosses it. i guess you have a sailboat? those are the only ones i know of that a decent sized sailboat can get to

Portsmouth is even better, as I'll be staying in Suffolk.

Ocean Marine center in portsmouth is also very nice. I do not recommend them for work but the marina itself is quite nice.
