C'mon Kermie you need to toughen up a bit! Quit cruising at 15 knots under power and the wind chill comes down some!
Seriously, there's not a month we don't get out for at least a weekend, and we have a tradition recently of doing New Years Eve out with our club. You do have to dress for it, the rainy days are chilly but certainly bearable, a dodger is pretty much a necessity as is cabin heat. As to the gales, well, we get better sailing conditions in winter than summer as far as winds go.
Get yourself a real boat
