Yep............
Good sailing, though normally winds are not really heavy, can be really light sometimes. Good facilites, with Green Turtle Bay, Ky. Dam Village, Lighthouse Landing, Rottgering Marine, and others here. People gripe about the shallow water, but if you read your charts and pay attention, you can sail any draft here you wish. I sailed on New Years Day a few years ago, but then again I have seen kids on ATV's riding across the harbor before. Just depends on how the jet stream sets and how much cold air comes down. Great anchorages and cove all along the Land Between the Lakes (TVA). Kentucky Lake Sailing Club is a good resource (klsc.net) as is kentuckylake.com. Good boat slips are hard to find sometimes as they are not building any more. Overall, a pretty good sailing venue. Come visit.
