thanks everyone

there is a huge list of companies that participated in the Annapolis sailboat show.. think i'm just going to go down the list and start calling. I also asked my friend who worked for pacific seacraft to give me contact info. I emailed the HR director at fountain as well. If anyone has any other contacts or connections within the industry that might help me out, i'd appreciate it!

Might want to talk to the folks at Hinckley. Might not be building any sailboats, but they are in a class of their own in anything they build.

One problem is that a lot of the boat builders are scaling production way back due to the financial market instability. The really high-end builders are probably not as heavily affected, since the buyers for their products are generally well enough off that some market instability isn't going to affect their boat buying plans...but YMMV.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
