From the planning, keeping in contact with my partners, travel costs to and from the location, provisions, and still maintaining to pay the bills of my home I guess I'm not really paying for anything here now then am I.

That depends on how much you're getting paid. You haven't mentioned what that 50% amounts to.
What's with trolling in this forum?!
By whom do you refer?

For footage storage I'll be using P2 cards and DVCPRO AJ-PCS060G. The Cameras I use are a 3-CCD ProHD Camcorder with a 16:1 Fujinon Lens and my cool new Libre Microwave! Got it with a grant from the University.

I'm just curious why people keep hounding my legitimacy. By the way, I graduated college when I was 18, If you don't believe it just check the age on any of my profiles.

Will you be using the Panasonic HVX200 P2 camera?

Why do you need a microwave on this trip if you are a one man band?

Who is hounding you? We're asking questions.
Nobody brought up your age but you've decided to make it an issue.

You have to admit it's hard to take a message like yours too seriously. Serious documentary makers do more research than you seem to have done. They generally don't pick subjects from the "anyone on an internet chat group who will take me and pay for the trip" category. And if you're really planing to make a serious documentary I hope you're bringing more than one camera. Also if you'd spent any amount of time on this site you would know that the reposnses posted so far are mild compared to the hounding a message like yours usually gets ...

The OP didn't answer this question.
