Catalina 30 trapeze

Hey everyone! I just got back from a beautiful day on Tampa bay. The wind was around 12 knots and just perfect for my str rig Catalina 30. I wanted to know if anyone has ever put a trapeze on a cruiser. I've used them on small boats before and they're a load of fun for the crew. If anyone has how'd you do it? Just buy a Trap harness and attach it to a halyard? Thanks for the ideas!

Where would you get all the people to put in it to make an appreciable difference? Just dangle your legs over the windward rail. Generally, boats with lead ballast . . . or any ballast at all. . . don't fit trapeze rigs.

A trapeze on a Catalina 30 would be like a rear spoiler on a front wheel drive Honda.
