Not true, my boat is insured until Dec 1.

Guess your insurer has different terms. I have Acadia and they are great but my policy is out of water Nov1 to May 1 for the premium (which is very reasonable).
Frostbiting became less fun once I entered the Golden Age Club anyway.
Do you sail out of Portsmouth? There are a couple T-28's that I always see and often in less favorable conditions.
