Well, well. A few votes over the weekend! Who the hell voted for the Gulfies? Are you kidding me? We suck!

I did see where two more Portuguese sailors threw down some good stuff (opti and pmor). So the Eurpies seem to be coming on strong.

However, that the Supersouthies are not yet on the board is a crime! Did you guys see Chall's BFS? I mean c'mon! The Supernorthies are on the board!

Seems like a mighty tight race with the Easties and Westies. And time is running out!

Wow - this is actually turning into a pretty tight race! The Supernorthies are even bustin' a move! And the Supersouthies have finally sobered up and crossed the starting line. Now the Gulfies actually being tied with said Supersouthies should be no end of humiliation and ridicule for the latter, because really, we got nothin' up here. It's a Gulf for crying out loud. I mean Chall threw down hard in his last BFS and I didn't even leave the dock! Pathetic!

As for the Others, all I can say is....what the hell?

You're kidding right? 90+ % of the country, including the Great Lakes, gets "Other". Might help your cause of collecting "BFS" stories if all those sailors were looked at as more than "other".

I'd have to say that GUU's got a pretty solid argument for taking the trophy... especially if he's giving it to Fred.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

See the only problem with this 90% argument is that it's....how shall I put it....LAND.

Look, I'm a lake sailor too, dude. But it is what it is. It's not like the Midwest has a long and storied line of nautical paragons throughout history that have fascinated the world, right? Okay you got a Gordon Lightfoot song - but c'mon.

So, show 'em if you got 'em. Make a name, brother!
