What are you and T doing for Buddy?

I think he did pretty well all by himself. Despite the total ignorance of some. I mean it's not like you have a rich history of "Great Midwestern Sailors" on your side. They're lakes, man.

You can continue to paddle around your little tea pot if you like, but you don't have to try to take the whole rest of the country down with you.

BTW- I know sailors in Kansas that you could sail with for the next 5 years and still have pleanty to learn from them.
Okay, T, I sense you might be a little steamed. Look, it's really simple: This is a VOTE. It's a democracy thing. So, if you want a change - go to the BFS thread and make your case with something impressive (that's what everyone is voting on by the way). Then call your friends in Kansas and Wisconsin and have them do the same, then ALL of you guys push the Others category through the roof and humiliate everyone else. It ain't rocket science, dude!

Harpin' on me and my puddle-bound tea pot ain't going to help you get your way. It is what it is.

Borrowed from another forum:
'The Race to Mackinac is one of America's icons of yacht racing. We are proud to document the 100th running of the Mac for ESPN. Given the prestigious nature of this race, it is especially fitting to have Rolex leading this project. It was the highlight of the racing season in 2008,' Gary Jobson commented

also:Ted Turner did the Chicago to Mackinaw race some years ago. At first he
wasn't impressed with Lake Michigan. Then the weather turned from bad to worse
and several boats sank and many never completed the race. After the race he
retracted his earlier comments about the lake and said the only difference
between sailing the great lakes and the oceans is the salt.

Why bother, nothing much really happens here right?

You know smack- I have actually defended you to others around here when they thought you were nothing more than a troll. I'm starting to wonder why I wasted my time. I've never hit the "ignore button" for anyone, but I'm getting really close. Don't bother to reply, I'm done reading your threads.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Will do Wuffles. You're a true diplomat, my man. Starting January 1 there will be a new category for T.

Anyone second the perpetual thing?

I prefer it!

Then whomever wins gets to glue something on the cup and mail it to the next winner. (rules about the size of the personal addition would be recommended...)
