When I first started reading this post, I was thinking "Wow, this guy's got chutzpah to be sailing a 23' boat from Cape Canaveral to Tampa in 8 days, plus that doesn't give him time to enjoy a cold one in Key West!"

Then I realized you took a short cut!

Great post and great photos. Congrats on the new boat!

Wow-way cool. I followed your route via google earth. I never knew about the canal network through Florida. Thanks for sharing.

Dee-livery completed and dee-liverance avoided! Must be a bit spooky in parts up there. Not exactly on the usual tourist trail but you got to see it and most importantly got home.
