45,000 Chrysler workers laid off will not be as bad as it could be, because most United Auto Workers union members get what is known as "sub-pay." If the banks keep us from financing new cars and thus stimulating that part of the economy, so they don't go back in 30 days, then the do-do will really hit the fan.

Dubbledee, I envy your good fortune -- you will have a great boat! Comparitivly speaking I have a sea slug, and I know it, but it's the limitations of the bread box, nowhutimean?

Well..the only thing I would be concerned with, but you will soon find out, is that that stern opening system sucks..

A friend of mine had his tear off the hinges at the door..just be very careful opening it and loading into and off of it..

It's a real bad weak system..

He complained once..they didn't want to replace, then they did, and the second door saw the same hapening...

There are several guys on line complaining about it too, just in case you don't believe me..

Other than that PERFECT BOAT!!

"..especially as you wave good bye to all your friends in the Catalinas, Beneteau, Hunters, Dufours Jeanneau, etc"

I resemble that remark, even if it is a Portuguese designed Jeanneau!

Enjoy the new boat!

I never said you were wrong about how good it is, I was just saying I resemble the owner of a jeanneau remark!

There is an 03 34 in the midwest if I could afford it! and get it here for a reasonable amount for me any how!

AHHH ok...I get it....sorry

Double..Jeanneaus are faster..especially the 50 footer

I like Jeanneau, by the way...for the record...and with the right weight reduction program, can be very very fast too.

I will watch out for the stern opening with the surveyor, thank you for the heads up. I too like Jeanneau, I think some of the boats they made in the early 90's are very nice. I was on a 2008 one and did not care for the insides, looked pretty economy model like, but I never sailed one so who knows.

We never would have spent this much on a boat until 2 very close friends died unexpectedly this year. Made us rethink what was important. Having a nice boat will be our treat to ourselves for being frugal the last 20 years. I can't wait for the survey on Tuesday.
