The Admiral and I each got Myerchin sailor's tools from our dogs. They have a blade, marlin spike, and shackle pliers. The dogs also gave each of us two sailing related travel mugs. (Golden retrievers are such smart dogs!)

I got a bottle of scotch (that's sailing related, right?) and a tall ships calendar. I also got some galley tools such as a collapsible colander and a book of sailing stories.

The Admiral got a new jacket and a bottle of scotch.

I guess I will be slaving away in the galley while she sits on deck with the dogs, in her new jacket, sipping scotch.

Santa brought me a couple of nautical pilots:
  • Yachtsman's Navigator Guide To Chilean Patagonia 3rd Edition by Alberto Mantellero; and
  • Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego Nautical Guide 2nd Edition by Mariolina Rolfo & Giorgio Ardrizzi.
... now I'll be able to dream in much clearer detail

The wife got me "The New Complete Sailing Manual" bye Steve Sleight, a knot quick reference (complete with three small ropes) and a Leatherman Kick multi-tool (with a raincheck for a Wave).

Hopefully before too long I'll actually have a boat

We're all hoping... the next task will be to convince the Mrs. to let you sell Stinkus Potus to upgrade to the 30 something Sabre and move to the coast!!!!
