Singaproe Strait

Hy,

Has anyone ever sailed in the Singapore Strait?
This is one busiest passage in the world and I was wondering how safe it is to sail in this area, especialy when you are a beginner/

Singaproe Strait

Hello
I sailed throught the Straits about 50 times on freighters and tankers. Yes, it is busy with traffic. However, there is no problem to sail in the area if you carefully observe the rules of the road and traffic lanes. Constant vigilance is necessary; no sleeping on watch, and discretion is the better part of valor.
