Part Two: Blue Water, A Film About Crossing Oceans

The second and final part of Blue Water: A Film About Crossing Oceans is now online at

Blue Water

It's an interesting documentary, a mix of both interviews with long range sailors and on board footage during an Atlantic crossing on a Starlight 39. The result is both romantic and unromantic realities about crossing oceans.

Some quotes:

"It's like an open air prison."

"The desire to build a boat is the desire of youth, unwilling yet to accept the idea of a final resting place... It cannot be resisted."

"Without the wild, we are less than we should be."

Thanks to the Ellen MacArthur Trust for help fund and post this film.
