Suggestions for route/stopovers from St Thomas to Mobile Bay, AL
Life has required that my dad and I both move back home for awhile we are weighing the options of keeping the boat in St Thomas or bringing her back home. Just wondering if anyone has any input as to the best time of year to make this passage and what route you might take. The boat is a 1982 Pearson 365 Cutter with new enginge, v-drive, electronics, and entire rig as of this summer.
EDIT: Mobile Bay doesn't have to be the entrance point, also considering following some of the ICW up to mobile bay..that is where we would jump on the Tenn-Tomm Waterway heading to North Alabama.
