sailin2sun is on a distinguished road
Question sailin2sun

Hi ' Well I'm new here to your forum, have read alot of great stories, good info, great opinions. So I would love some of that good advice. My husband and I are looking to buy a 30 min 36ft max sailboat, we are hoping to find something in the southern California area before 2010,so we are giving ourselves some time to look. We have been thinking about a Pearson323,Irwin,morgan outisland, endeavour and even a Catalina. I would love some input on those ideas as Knowledge is dear!! We are looking to sail to cabo, up into the gulf boogie around for awhile. Thanx big.

many of those boats have owner groups. do a google search for the particular boat line you are interested in to see if there is an owner group. I know there is an endeavour owner group with a lot of good info

there is a lot of variation from year to year and model to model within each brand, so making a statement about 'catalina' in general doesn't do much good

You can check yachtworld.com and peruse all of the boats they have there and get a better idea of what you want.
