Good Old boats and google alerts
This is a pretty web savvy group but I'll share this experience to perhaps be of value to someone.
I read just about all the good sites with info on my engine- Yanmar 2QM20.
Then i created a google alert to be kept aware of anything new. I've only gotten three alerts so far and two were my own posting on this forum. But one was an ebay listing I probably never would have found.
It was for a starter. It retails for $1100- i got it for $120. Just seemed like a good idea to have a spare at that price.
