Maine Boat Builders Show - Who's Going?

It's that time of year again and I hope to see some Sail Netters at the Maine Boat Builders show this year.

Once again I will be working at the Mobile Marine Canvas booth with my buddy Seth. I know I will at least be there on Saturday. Unfortunately Sunday I have prior commitments. I will put my screen name under my real name on my boat show badge so you'll know which guy I am in the booth.

Feel free to stop by and say hello! Oh and let's not forget the eye candy...

Many of the builders in this photo graphic slide show will be there!

It's a mid-winter event up in Maine. They go to the show to warm up.

Hopefully it won't be so warm the snow melts, that building leaks like crazy

Anyone going??

Anyone else going this year??

This is a GREAT show and is unlike the "mass production" boat shows. You will actually see some of the finest craftsmen and builders in the boating industry!

I will be working at the Mobile Marine Canvas booth with my buddy Seth. I will at least be there on Saturday and possibly part of Sunday but that looks doubtful. Unfortunately Sunday I have prior commitments.

I will put my screen name under my real name on my boat show badge so you'll know which guy I am in the booth.

Feel free to stop by and say hello. Oh and let's not forget the eye candy...

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Smile It's great fun

I live in central Maine and try to get to the show every year. I want yesterday, Friday, and it was as good as ever. If you can get there, you owe yourself the treat. Just ignore the power boats...

I went on Saturday and picked up a Fein Multimaster kit... Maine Sail is a bad influence.. when I stopped by the Mobile Marine Canvas booth, he had one... and convinced me to get one... It's really all his fault... really... the fact that I've wanted to get one for a while and have about a billion projects I can use it on had nothing to do with it...
