There are such a thing as fuel efficient motor boats ya know. Just because she doesn't have sails doesn't mean it burns >30gph.

I don't know if sailors can compete. Poser boaters have hot chicks, lots of money superior business/investing savvy and they can beat up anyone who challenges them.

Sailors don't have to log off sailnet when the school bus shows up though.

Well, burns more that I can afford. There is a bunch of detail on this boat on another site setsail dot com if you want to check it out. The people that designed it are also sailors and have some very good designs. I fueled up my 40 gallon tank on my sailboat and burned only 1/4 so far in about a year. Can a powerboater say that. I go out all the time. I have too motor out of the channel here, wind on your nose most times. After I get to deeper water I turn the diesel off no matter what. My dog and I enjoy what ever there is and sometimes that means less than a knot, other times the hound is on the bed and the boats going hard. You never know in SF and must be ready for a blow that shifts and turns like a lady I have known many way cool powerboaters but they just don't do what I want to and thats okay I don't do what they want either. I can tell you this a seaman is a seaman and don't ever think you know more than that old brown skinned man.

Yeah well, this time of year reminds me that Poser boaters are all about Scotch and Strippers, while I'm up to my ears in Scotchbrite and paint stripper.

Posin' aint all bad.

Hot Chicks on sailboats read books
Hot Chicks on power boat read magazines

Hot Chicks on sailboats are blonde, all over their body
Hot Chicks on power boats are blonde on their head only

Hot Chicks on sailboats have an IQ over 130, and wish they could be a Mensa member
Hot Chick on power boats think IQ is the men's magazine their captain reads

Hot Chicks on sailboats like having sex
Hot Chicks on power boats are used for sex (who cares really)

S G,

There you go working with a closed mind again. Not all sailboat chicks are blonde!

20 MPH ain't fast unless, you do it in a 1000sq 3/2 house on 10foot waves
