CD - We take the engine off and put it on our stern rail (all 120lbs of it), and put the dink upside down on the foredeck using a lifting tackle and halyard. It's not too bad, and we gain about a half knot of speed or more not dragging it behind us. There's no way we could have trailed it for our Gulf Stream crossing - the waves were just too big - and the crossing of the banks promised to be similar. In settled weather, we'll just take the engine off and trail the RIB behind us. It's a bit (a bit might not be strong enough a word) stern heavy with the 20 horse on the back, so we tend to err on the side of caution. You can still come over if you want! We have a nice lee berth for you...
