Hudson Quadricentennial Celebration

A flotilla of five heritage ships will depart from the New York Harbor on June 6 and arrive in Albany on June 13 will be a key feature of the NYS quadricentennial celebration of the exploration of the Hudson River. Boaters have been invited to participate in a rolling escort to the flotilla. For further information download the March issue of Boating on the Hudson and Beyond at Boating On The Hudson & Beyond - Home. An article on the flotilla and convoy is on pp. 68-69

The Hudson River Boat & Yacht Club Association is gathering information regarding potential participants and will coordinate with the USCG. Is anybody planning to participate?

Likewise, Nyack Boat Club has also notified it's members about the rolling escort plan on June 6th or so. Now to decide whether it will be grappling hooks or water canons or maybe just a water pistol
