Anyone watch Deadliest Catch?

I like it just to watch Mother Nature in action! Quite the seas there in the Bearing Sea.

Love that show..... crazy guys! I did a little time doing helicopter op's of the Cutter Hamilton in the early 70's in the Bearing..... I have GREAT respect for that section of water!

Makes me want to go crab fishing. Of course, I would probably get myself killed.

Yeah, I used to watch. Had to quit...was gaining too much weight. Seems all that motion of the ocean put an extra 15 pounds on my keel....a bag of Ginger Snaps to ease the queaziness while watching may have been a contributing factor.

The show reminds of the times that I had worked up in the Bering Sea fishing and of the fun I had while there....

While I've only seen the show once or twice, I've seen Direction, the professional lobsterboat out of New Bedford harbor that is sometimes on the show, ram a buoy on its way out of the harbor.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
