sailing numbers in the US

Hi

I am trying to get a judge for how many people learn to sail in the US each year and how many of these are in dinghies. Any clues?

I dunno. I would check out boatus.com and ussailing.org, both of which keep statistics of various sorts.

Learn to Sail and Earn Your Sailing Certification With the ASA would probably have numbers too.
