Here's Zac Sunderland's blog.  He's the other teen currently attempting a circumnavigation, but doing it on his own resources rather than being funded by his father, like Mike is.
There's clearly a different philosophy between the two boys attempts. Zac bought his own boat and prepped it. IMHO, he is doing this more for himself than anything else. Mike on the other hand, had his boat chartered for him by his father, who hired a world class sailor to train and prep him and two other sailors to prep the boat. I get the feeling he is doing it more for his father than himself—not to take anything away from his accomplishment thus far...

her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
