I use the pressure point wristbands which I purchased at West Marine and find them very effective most of the time. In rougher conditions I find I initially need something else and take an over-the- counter medication which doesn't cause drowsiness. In Canada, I buy "Gravall" which I find is the best but I have not been able to find it in the US and I don't know the active ingredient.

I have only felt seasick once on a crossing from Scotland to Ireland in the North Channel but warm coke gives instant relief. I now carry tums or rolaids for anyone that feels sick.
