Boats are boats. The laws are generally the same across power and sail unless your a commercial vessel. But if you have legal questions I would talk to an attorney not an internet forum. Here in the US the coast guard has decent material that gives a general outline of the regulations.

Can you be more specific - what do you mean?

* Items that must legally be aboard? - if so boat length should be provided
* Immigration/Boat paperwork / insurance issues?
* Are you flying into Europe to meet the boat?

Since both countries are in the EU - if the boat is "good" for one it is most likely "good" for the other. Are you from the EU? or elsewhere? is the boat EU registered? (there is an 18 month time limit or you have to pay VAT).

Clarify your question, and you may get more help.

A lot depends on where the boat in question is flagged. If it is flagged in the EU, many of the regulations will be quite different than if it flagged outside the EU, since most of that trip will be in EU waters.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
