Going to Sea

After years of studying and dreaming, months of planning and shopping, I set sail saturday. Plan to go from Lauderdale to LI, a thousand miles or so. Recruited a crew on this forum. Anxious to sail, I fly on thursday. Expect to be back by the end of the month, I'll report on the trip then.

Have a good safe trip! If I remember correctly, you are taking the boat to Mt. Sinai harbor or Port Jeff harbor right?

cotton sucks, bring a bottle of gold bond to keep your undercarriage dry and a thing of baby wipes for washing up (do NOT put these down the head)

Well with that in mind I'll be keeping an eye out for you. I have my boat "Capricorn" on a mooring near Ralph's Fishing Station. Again have a safe and enjoyable trip!
