ah, thanks...would it be innapropriate to force that just to upload?

i'm a mod a a martial arts forum that uses the same exact software as this place but we don't have that tweak...i do understand it though

i like this little boat...I sorta have 3 ideas in mind for learning to sail:

1 - local lakes, we have a few here in WNC that are big enough to sail on
2 - the appalachicola bay area...been wanting to make that a regular destination for vacations
3 - Florida Bay/Inside the Keys

this boat seems to fit well for those there scenarios and simply as a 'first' boat.

i sat in it for a while, much larger seeming on the inside than I thought at first...two poeple could sail camp in it just fine i think.

I'm unabashedly a newbie/tyro...one experience sailing in the Keys in 2000 on a Catalina 27 got me hooked but have had nothing but reading and web time for research...I've read Lin and Larry Pardey's series 3 times in the last 4 years...don't know that I'll ever circumnavigate but I will be happy if I can manage to live on a boat in the Caribben...but got to start somewhere!

the photo uploading function has never worked on sailnet. the easiest thing to do is put the pics in a photobucket (or like) account, copy and paste the image code. OR, if the pic is on from the web, copy and paste.

Dictated, but not read.
