I'd like to thank everyone that has provided such great advice. Thank you.

How am I doing? Am I providing enough details in the questions I am asking? Am I posting enough pictures of the work that I've done?

I've dined and sailed with a bunch of the members, thoroughly enjoyed all the information, both sailing-related and off-topic, and I plan to do more of the same in the future.

Thank you Sailnet.

Regards
ACtually, we've been reviewing your membership. Frankly, after 1000 posts we expected more from you, Bene.

So I'm sorry to say that we (the membership -- colluding behind your back via pm) unanimously voted to place you on probation. If things aren't looking up by your 100,000th post, we may have to revisit the issue.

My best advice is to quit your day job and devote all your attention to Sailnet. Consult SailingDog for more details.

P.S. Good to have you on board!

You need to say "bite me" a lot more if you hope to catch the Dawg!

No longer posting. Reach me by PM!

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

I just looked at Sailingdog's post count 34,434. That's simply amazing.

Great minds discuss ideas;
Average minds discuss events;
Small minds discuss people.
.
The best minds discuss sailing (and a little bit of politics). I don't know why. It's a mystery!

We are working on a software patch that will allow a six-digit post count. We don't have much time, and if we can't get it done before he gets there, it's going to be Y2K all over again.
